Feature Requests

This new version/build is almost UNUSABLE, especially in Italian... I am no longer able to accurately edit audio via text. The Playhead in the transcript is either too far ahead or way behind the audio, making accurate checking almost impossible. There are even odd pieces of text in the transcripts like "Sottotitoli creato della comunità Amara.org ". Even the new export functio where you have to select a destination from a dropdown is ridiculous. PLEASE FIX THIS APPLICATION. It was much better at the beginning when I started using it 2 years ago, at least for podcasts. I am currently looking for other options so I can move farward and abandon Descript as it has become so terrible.

We propose adding a "Color Match" feature to enhance video editing capabilities. This tool would allow users to automatically synchronize color tones and palettes across multiple clips, ensuring visual consistency and a professional look. By analyzing the dominant colors in a reference clip, the feature would apply matching adjustments to other clips, saving time and improving workflow efficiency. This would be especially useful for creators aiming for cohesive storytelling and polished visuals.

We need better tools for audio and video within Sequence Editor for us power-users who really love Descript and don't want to have to keep using other tools for a better workflow.

One thing Riverside.FM still excels at better than Descript is how well organized the UI is in regards to their studios. For us Rooms are considered studios but there is no way to actually view all of the Rooms we have created. I would like there to be a navigation link on the left, that says Rooms. Then allow us to easily copy the link to the room as well as have all of the recordings that were completed within that room. If Descript wants to be the solo solution for Recording and Managing podcasts this the UI needs to consider people are managing tons of different Podcast projects and being able to manage Rooms and the recordings that happen in the rooms is extremely critical.

I hate your new update. I normally add a voice file then upload a video on top, which I then edit, now I cant do that with your new update. Completly destroyed the usability. I will be cancelling if this important feature and simple feature is not added back.

too many clicks needed to see the layers and access the layer i want. once I clck on the script - the layer list disappears.

I'm working with extremely large files, which makes it difficult to find what I need. Please add filtering capabilities to the app interface or folders.
