Select multiple elements in timeline at once

Oh wow, you're f*k'n kidding me. I've worked in Davinci and Premiere for years. I tested Descript at a new job based on the content I need to be making and this is like, absolutely a dealbreaker.
I needed to make one change for a video I already made and now I discover that I'll have to move more than 60 clips individually, realigning each of them to hit at the right moments since the rhythm will be completely destroyed.
Okay two questions, and I'm not being hyperbolic:
Are you guys a bunch of really entitled preschoolers developing this program, or are you intentionally just smugly flipping the bird to everyone who uses your app?
There's obviously no logic behind this, so what is the restriction you're facing that would prevent you from employing literally one of the most basic functions of software?

Yes, desperately needed. It will save us a lot of time

Please, selecting multiple elements on a timeline is a basic feature on any timeline based app. I just spent 10 minutes individually deleting 100 separated captions, after spending 20 minutes finding out there's no way to select multiple captions at the same time.

What is the logic behind not being able to select more than one item on a timeline? Sometimes you want to copy and past a title and a rectangle behind it to multiple places on the timeline so you dont have to recreate from scratch. It is SO tedious having to copy and paste one item at a time. I hope what i'm describing makes sense. Please fix this!

I use logos and other images plus text + captions over my videos and it would be great to be able to select multiple items for copy/paste.
Without this feature, I need to continually go back and forth between compositions.

Yes please! The only way around this I have found is selecting in the transcript (where possible)

This would be a game-changer. Hope they see this soon...

YES, I'm currently stacking lots of shapes and I would love to select multiple objects and match durations.
