here's how it would go:
- import multicam footage into a multitrack sequence
- user puts the sequence into the timeline
- user runs underlord to remove all the 'ums' and uhs' (when i edit a podcast, i have 150-300 of them)
- wherever an edit to remove a filler is made, a new scene is created and automatically cuts from one camera to another
- the result removes jump cuts and hopefully makes for a more polished viewing experience

When editing in other apps, synchronising multiple camera angles for the one subject is easy, then we are manually culling the gaps and filler words. If Descript could create a feature where we can have two separate camera angles synchronised and then be able use the auto gap delete whilst keeping in sync. All we will have to do manually is choose the preferred angle throughout the sequence.
