24-bit, 48khz Output (For ALL Plans)
Robin Dean
Many of us in the production industry intend to master the audio after the fact. The base for audio mastering is 24-bit, 48khz.
Again, 24/48 ... because 16/44.1 is the final output, followed by 320k/44.1 MP3 for mass web use.
Descript is part of production, not post-production, so the output config needs to be the SAME as the input.
Let ALL subscribers have this.

It’s ludicrous that an audio startup doesn’t offer this minimum standard.

48khz on included media when exporting timeline
Richard Hooper
when Studio Sound has been applied to an interview, and the timeline is then exported for further editing in Audition etc, that the included media files are 48khz instead of 44.1khz as this makes for a smoother workflow

For studio production, 24-bit, 48 khz is the base standard. Sure would be nice if your software offered that as an export.
No, 16-bit, 44.1 khz isn't CD quality.
24-bit, 48khz BOUNCED DOWN to 16-bit, 44.1 khz (by a studio professional) is.
And that's what your software lacks.
