Ability to replace audio in a video file

Could be that I just haven't found this feature and then someone will have to guide me right but otherwise I would like this option to be added. I would like to have the ability to replace the audio in an MP4 with the audio from a Wav file. This is because I use Riverside to record my podcast and like to use descript for editing. My problem is that from Riverside I get a Wav file with very high sound quality and an MP4 with good video quality but worse sound. I would like to use the audio in the WAV file along with the video in the MP4 file. Right now I have found the possibility to "detatch audio" but not that I can plug in a new audio... OCh if I add multiple tracks to my sequence, features like Auto Multicam don't work. Could this be solved?

This should be achievable using Sequences: https://help.descript.com/hc/en-us/articles/10256430454925-Sequence-overview

Gabe Michalski Hi Gabe, You can do that with sequences but it will not automatically match up to the cuts you have already made. I'm talking about if the video composition has already been cut, then i want to be able to 'replace' JUST the audio on the video and have the audio still line up with the cuts

claire bidigare-Curtis: Got it, thanks for clarifying - I have re-opened the feature request.

Replace Audio Attached to Video (after editing)

My team works very quickly so we upload video to descript and edit it while I take the audio and mix/process it separately. Ideally, we could just replace the audio thats attached to the video once I'm done mixing it and have all the edits stay in place. But we can't do that right now unless its a new video file with the new mixed audio. So replacing audio thats attached to video would be amazing and very convenient
