It would be really helpful to have a visible download progress indicator that includes an estimated remaining time when exporting or downloading files in Descript.

Right now, larger downloads can feel uncertain because there’s no clear indication of how long the process will take. A simple “time remaining” estimate (for example: “2 minutes left”) alongside the progress bar would improve the user experience, especially for creators working with large video or audio files.

This feature would help users:

Better manage their workflow and time

Know whether a download/export is stalled or progressing normally

Improve confidence during larger file exports/downloads

Even a rough estimate would be extremely helpful.
