Descript is an excellent tool for creating educational and social media videos, but currently it cannot be used effectively for Persian (Farsi) because RTL languages are not officially supported.

I would love to see support for:

* Full right-to-left (RTL) text rendering

* Proper Persian/Arabic character shaping

* Correct text alignment and formatting in AI-generated slides

* Support for Persian fonts (including custom uploaded fonts)

* RTL support across captions, titles, scenes, and all text elements

This feature would make Descript accessible to millions of Persian-speaking users as well as users of other RTL languages such as Arabic, Urdu, and Hebrew.

As an educator creating AI-powered educational videos in Persian, RTL support is one of the few missing features preventing me from using Descript as my primary video creation tool.

I hope the team will consider adding official RTL support in a future release. Thank you for your amazing work!
