Add transcript to embeddable player

Having spent time editing the transcription. It would be great to display a Descript audio player and the transcription on my website.
I can copy the text and display that. But I have to export the audio into. another player to display it. It would be super cool to allow visitors to play the audio on my site and have it synch with the text.

Hi, I thought it would be easier to send this request via video:
Thanks in advance for your consideration!

I would like to learn how do you create a content page with the left hand side showing the transcription the word which is highlighted as the speaker says it. Just you have on the Demo project page at
Thanks

Andrew Mason: Amazing
Paul Adams
Hi Andrew Mason The new side-by-side transcript is fantastic! It's working with our eLearning authoring tool, and generally improves our training video accessibility and learning experience! But for paying customers, more fine-grained control over white-labeling (removing Descript branding and after playback call to action), chrome such as share video, download, "published by", Speaker name, etc. would be greatly appreciated published
Andrew Mason
Paul Adams: cool! we're working on removing the custom branding, that's not too far out. If you want to remove the speaker labels, how about just removing them from the composition?
Paul Adams
Andrew Mason Will one be able to white label/remove all Descript branding from the embeddable player? For paying customers only is definitely acceptable!
Andrew Mason
Paul Adams: that seems like a good idea IMO
Cameron Suorsa
Paul Adams: I agree! Embeddable player that has a dynamic transcript - without Descript branding is something I have been wanting too. I would use the embed function if it was white labeled/non-branded.

We're adding close captions in the next release, but this will be a bit further out.

If you're going to do this, think of a way to make it help SEO on the page too :) It'd be awesome if all of the transcript words could be crawled by search engines.
James Dennewitz
Jacob Harmon: I think they would be. I have read adding transcripts to You Tube videos can be found in searches, not 100% sure of it, but I have seen a few teachers mention it.

Honestly, this would bring so many people over from Wistia. I'm using Descript for my membership app and site - Descript could be the #1 editing + publishing tool.
Customers from Adobe.
Customers from Wistia.
Customers from Vimeo.
You guys would take over so much market share with this!

Lucien Lu: Yes - the video embed needs to be responsive, but after that, 100% I would switch from wistia.
Carri Craver
Max Kafka: I'm using Webflow and the responsive pary is pretty easy to do there.

Here's a great example of an interactive transcript: https://www.heavybit.com/library/podcasts/unintended-consequences/ep-1-defending-our-thesis-with-dr-aleks-krotoski-of-bbc-radio-4/
* Mousing over a paragraph shows the timecode on the right hand side
* Clicking any word starts the player at that word
See also the feature request for "Word-level timestamps in subtitle export". If there was a way to output transcript data in an easily-parseable format (e.g. JSON, XML) then it would be a relatively simple scripting job to create an interactive transcript like the one above.
