Zooming on Canvas

Having the ability to zoom in and out in the canvas (similar to how Canva or Figma do it) would be super helpful and make Descript even more of a one-stop-shop video creation tool.

At present, only way to control the canvas size is by dragging the boundary up and down between the script and the canvas. I am often using the click-and-drag edge of an image to resize it (often to zoom way, way in) and then I can't find my boundary at all to edit it! There's no way to zoom out the canvas sufficiently to find the edges of the image/video--can you make a way of zooming in without having to toggle all the canvas views and adaptive shapes (which usually are not enough)?

Resizing the script or timeline doesn't help when you have a layer on top of another that you enlarged you have to drag it around until you find a corner to scale it down. From what I've seen you can't adjust the size or positions like you should be able to so this is accomplished faster.

Need this for doing animations that come from off screen they can be hard to move sometimes when they start off the canvas.

This topic should be changed to "Allow Zoom out on Canvas" for clarity. This feature is very important for creating transitions between close up shots and middle shots keeping the speaker framed in the correct place.
