API Access / Personal Token for Descript Integrations

Hello All!
I would like access to a Descript API personal token so I can integrate Descript into my existing automation and content workflows.
My goal is to trigger Descript actions (project creation, media upload, transcription, and export) programmatically from tools like n8n and other internal services, so that I can streamline my podcast and video production pipeline and reduce manual steps.
Please let me know the process and any requirements (plan level, rate limits, or partnership terms) to obtain a personal token and use the Descript API in a supported way.

I'm a graduate student at Purdue University, Indiana. I'm working on a project to build an automated video processing pipeline using n8n and would love to integrate Descript as the core tool for transcription, editing, and highlight extraction.
Could you please provide access to Descript's API or let me know how I can apply for developer credentials (Client ID and Secret)?
I’m specifically looking to automate video uploads and trigger transcription and editing from cloud storage. It will be very helpful and I really look forward to hearing from you.
