I am an Audiobook Narrator and I tried Descript to edit one of my projects.

The option to cut out filler words and blooper takes has incredible potential - but it very often cuts the audio right in the middle of the narrator's breath between words.

This caused the reading to sound choppy and unnatural. I was able to manually move all the cuts to the correct locations, but this didn't save me much more time than just editing manually without Descript, so I've returned to Garageband for my projects ever since.

I've attached two screenshots demonstrating the problem. If Descript developers could address this challenge, I would be very interested in returning to Descript to edit my next projects.
