A/V Sync Offset inside Sequence Editor

Please add A/V sync controls inside the sequence editor. It's many clicks to go outside and open the Project > Files panel just to adjust it, only to go back in and discover it's not quite right, go out again, etc.
It makes sense for this control to be where the file is being assembled/aligned.

Yes, this makes more sense.

Syncing and aligning either in sequence or at recording level. Video and audio recording have their own latency and being able to record with pre-built delay options would help a lot

Need better tools for aligning non-synced audio files in Sequences

Often, I'm trying to create sequences including both sides of an interview - that are not synchronized.
Descript's Sequence view does not give me the tools I need to align them properly, especially when one side may have minutes of preamble, whereas the second side starts several minutes later.
For example, one side may include me greeting the guest, and giving them instructions on how to start recording locally on their iPhone. We do not start recording at the same time, so I need to be able to slide the recordings around in the Sequence until they line up properly.
Currently, I can only slide things around a few seconds - there is no usable pan and zoom function in the Sequence view that makes it possible for me to line up the two recordings.
To recreate this problem, try recording one side of an interview - and then start recording the other side 2 minutes later. Then, try to line them up in Descript - good luck, it's almost impossible.

The video we record via Riverside drifts and creates sync issues. Would be great if there were a tool to automatically sync the two.
