Right now, I'm using Auto Multicam to switch videos by speaker, but it's not quite what I need. I have 3 angles, one for each speaker, then a wide shot. The auto multicam is pretty good in how it puts them all together, but I already have the wide shot for that. I just want a simple way for one video to show when a speaker is talking — and sometimes switch to the wide shot when needed. As it stands, I still have to clean up the auto multicam, which isn't so bad but multicam isn't exactly what I need in this scenario and while it does reduce work time, the amount of time it still takes to manually edit the scenes feels like it beats the purpose. A feature like an automatic scene selector as opposed to an automatic multicam, maybe a setting or under layout, would be more ideal.
