Automatic Video Fade Out/In Between Clips When Removing Filler Words

You have audio microfades -- I need something like this for video too.
I removed 100's of filler words from a 45 minute video where the speaker was visible. Many of the cuts resulted in extremely choppy video cuts. It would be wonderful to automatically overlap all filler word video cuts a little and then apply an extremely short fade out/in to the video between the clips.

Removed Filler Words - smoother video cuts
LevelUp
When removing filler words, sometimes the result is a jarring cut for the video.
I create 30+ minute podcast episode, recorded in Squadcast, typically 45 minute recordings of myself plus one guest, which I edit down to 30 mins with about 10-20 scenes for focusing on the speaker. I often use "edit for clarity" or "remove filler words". These features are awesome for mu audio optimised version production - but the video usually ends up very choppy and jarring.
I smooth the worst ones out by splitting the scene and using a 0.2 seconds blur or cross fade. That is not a viable workflow to use across the whole episode. It could end up with over a hundred scenes which is unwieldy. Also, the workaround of using blur/fade softens the impact but it is not perfect.
The request it: add an AI function to "remove filler words" that generates a smooth correction of the motion.

Filler feature to auto-add video transitions

It would be really nice if we could have Descript automatically add a transition in the video any time it cuts out a filler word.

Smooth out cuts "filler words, umms and ahhs"
Major Editing
The removal of filler words, umms and ahhs, is too herky jerky. I deplore jump cuts and I use smooth transitions to make them less harsh...especially if the subject's movements are too obvious. Sometimes they must be left in to avoid it looking like a crappy YouTube video.
