Currently, Descript allows us to trim long pauses , for example, reducing any pause longer than 2 seconds down to a fixed duration, such as 1.5 seconds. It would be really useful to have a similar option that automatically identifies all pauses above a certain threshold and lets us reduce their duration by a chosen percentage — for instance, shortening those pauses by 30% or 50%.

This would help enhance the pacing of a video by tightening pauses while preserving the natural flow and rhythm of the speech. I believe this would be a valuable enhancement for many users and hopefully straightforward for your developers to implement.
