Your transcription is okay, but there's a lot more to it! The best example of this are all the transcription apps currently on the market that use Whisper.
The highest quality Whisper transcriptions are up to 100% error free.
It would be great if you could switch to the best Whisper transcription. You are currently leaving a lot of potential behind.

Descripts transcription engine makes a lot of mistakes particularly with people who have a non US accent. The Otter.AI transcription engine is much more accurate than the one you are using now. Change over to Otter.AI or another transcription engine that is more accurate.

I am deaf, but still speak fluently...but have a little bit of a speech impediment and Descript doesn't pick up my words at all even with my hearing friends saying they could understand me well. Facebook and YouTube's automatic captioning does a better job, too.

If we're able to integrate Whisper API or Naver's Clova API (Much more accurate for Korean) We won't be needing to wait for Descript Team to add languages for a certain demographic.

For other languages, other than English, it's even worse! 
In English you can at least replace transcript, in other languages, this is not even available.
This makes my life extremely hard since I work mostly with Brazilian Portuguese audio/video.

The transcription in Descript stinks. It's so error-filled that it's not even worth correcting. It'd take too much time. Descript needs to move to Whisper for transcription because whatever they're using simply fails.

Whisper is amazing. I use it on iOS in the ChatGPT app - but it 'bonks' out and is overall pretty unreliable. Would love to use the Whisper engine in Descript.
