So I like the fact that the VU meter tells me when audio is too loud, but that only seems to happen after I'm finished recording, when it's too late to adjust the input on my microphone or move my head back.

It used to be, I would see feedback while I was actually in the recording process, but that capability seems to have gone away, in lieu of the new audio meter. Any chance you can add some kind of green-yellow-red coloring to the audio meter while you're recording?
