Built-In Wiggle and Object Motion Animation

I’d like to suggest a built-in wiggle or subtle motion animation feature for objects.
The idea is to allow texts, images, shapes, UI elements, and even video layers to have gentle, continuous movement. This could include slight wiggling, floating, drifting, or micro-movements that make elements feel more alive instead of completely static.
Here’s an example showing how this kind of animation looks in action, visible within the first 10–15 seconds of the video:
This type of motion helps content feel more modern, dynamic, and engaging. It keeps the viewer’s attention without being distracting, especially in explainer videos, social media content, and educational videos.
The animation should be flexible enough to apply to different object types, including text, images, graphic elements, and video clips themselves. There should also be controls to adjust intensity, such as how strong the movement is, how fast it loops, and whether the motion feels smooth or more energetic.
I’ve also created a similar example in Canva to demonstrate the general direction and visual feel of this effect.
Having this as a native feature in Descript would remove the need for external tools or manual workarounds and make it much easier to create visually engaging, modern-looking videos directly inside the editor.
