Cancel/pause upload option

Sometimes I need to stop or pause an upload because it was either a mistaken file, or I am using a bad internet connection and need to pause it to make my system useable, but I can't just close Descript because I still want to work on an existing composition.

Is this really still not a thing? I found this on google while searching for how I can pause and continue uploads when I need. I didn't for a moment think I'd be discovering it wasn't possible. Darn 😅. PS: what's crazy is that you prioritised Underlord before this 🤷‍♂️

I can't cancel a file being uploaded after I have deleted the composition and even the project. I want to move on and upload others. Please fix!

A little disappointed as this feels like something that should've been included early on. I too keep running into issues with the uploads not being needed or an accidental file being used. It slows down everything else. Please move this up to include asap.

I mistakenly added an audio file for transcription when I wanted the video file but couldn't find a way to cancel the process once it started.
This would be very helpful so that we don't use up our valuable transcription hours on mistakes.

Please allow a way for us to stop things uploading and syncing. I accidentally selected a giant file, and even though I've removed it, I cannot stop it from uploading. This is a regular occurrence. A feature allowing us to stop uploads, to pause them, to cancel them, would make life so much easier.

This is ridiculous, why have Descript still not created an option to stop things from uploading and syncing, it's absolutely insane. You need to fix this, Descript!

Seconding this feature, especially with how auto transcribe settings can get overwritten from device to device.

This is insane... please ALLOW us to cancel uploads!
