Captions style - save/load between projects

Currently, the Captions panel offers built-in style presets but still no way to save a custom-branded caption style (fonts, colors, positioning) as a reusable preset directly within the panel. The only workaround is building the look into a layout pack — but layouts have real limitations for this use case:
- Layouts live on a single scene by default; there's no "apply to whole project" action.
- Extending a layout across scenes requires manually dragging all its layers into every scene
Dear Descript team, please let users save a custom caption style as a named preset inside the Captions panel itself (similar to layout packs), so branded caption styles can be created once and applied project-wide with one click.

Good morning,
Each time I have to manually copy my subtitle settings from one video to another and I would like to have the possibility to save a style that I can reapply to other videos without having to do everything again manually

Hi I use the same font and style for my captions for most of my projects (to create brand consistency). I t would be great to be able to just copy and paste captions/caption styling between projects.
Currently I have to look up what the settings are each time.

Fancy Captions Presets

We need presets for Fancy Captions (and other assets)! Changing the settings every time the project changes is murder! Not only does it not remember all the options used, but it chooses which to remember and which not. Same is true for waveforms and other elements.
We create repurposed content for many clients. Switching from one client to another, changing their color scheme, font options, placement, for each project is so time-consuming.

100% this is needed. Are they still called 'fancy captions'?

Totally agree - in fact for all software titles - this is basic etiquette - forcing people to repeat repeat repeat this is not wise
And to add - As for now - no paragraph support - a big step backwards I remember a while back that entire paragraph support for fancy captions was possible - but now it is forcing sentence display only - ???? ....am I missing something ??
