Convert mono audio to stereo on video

currently any audio recorded from a lavalier mic system that is attached to a video will only be played in the left or right ear, it would be great for a simple convert button or a split track option if one has an L/R interview mic system.

This really can be combined with the other post regarding mono audio on video since its same issue. I will also state my similar issue and enhancement option here as well.

When you add video file to the project, there should either be a checkbox option or setting where you can say to convert audio to mono. The feature is already built into Descript, since it can do this on export. Then file t added to composition would be based on the mono audio. There also should be an option in the 3 dots menu of the file "Convert Audio to Mono" so this way it can be done after, in case not done up front.
