Great feature request! We're sorry we haven't been able to reach back out to you until now.
Here are 2 options on how to convert MP4 to MP3:
- You can either export as audio and choose MP3 (see screenshot)
- Convert your video project into an audio-only composition before publish/export. Pair this with Duplicating the composition first to have one video composition and one audio composition (which you can export/publish separately)

I have to convert my audio file to mp3 from whatever the default is, there should be an option to just export/publish an audio only as an mp3.
