Duplicate comments as well as composition

Hi, I just wanted to make a suggestion that would greatly help me. When I'm duplicating a composition, it would be incredibly helpful if the comments were duplicated as well. I am not sure why they currently aren't.
For my team, we make comments when we're evaluating the video's takes, and then we duplicate the composition, and then we make those cuts.
So we take action based on those comments... but we don't want to cut up our only copy of that composition. That's why duplicating is so helpful. And indeed, I wish that it actually did duplicate all of the composition, comments included.
Is this something that can be implemented and rolled out soon? That would be wonderful!
Thank you for considering.

I love that compositions have comments. It's a great feature to keep me in the flow but allow me to note things to come back to. It's nice for collaboration as well. But when I duplicate a composition, the comments are not copied.
When duplicating a composition, I can copy highlights, but there doesn't seem to be a similar option for comments.
Please consider copying comments when duplicating a composition. It could be an option to keep the existing behavior consistent.

So many problems with COMMENTS:
1 - When a composition is edited, the time stamp on the comments doesn't update and becomes incorrect
2 - When duplicating a composition, or copying and pasting a section of a composition, the comments do not come along with it
3 - There's no way to print out a document of just the comments

Copying Comments When Duplicating A Composition

I am writing to ask if there's a way for the comments in a composition to also be duplicated when I duplicate a composition. As it stands, when I duplicate a composition, none of the comments duplicate along with it, leading to a lot of headaches for me and my team. In a sense, if not everything is copied, it's not really a "duplicate" at all. Is there a way to duplicate the comments as well currently? If so, I'd love to know how. If not, I'd love it if you could add that feature. Thanks! - Elin

Copying comments along with a transcript.

Currently, the only way to move a composition into another project is to copy the composition text, and paste it into a new composition in another project. But this doesn't copy any of the comments/notes on that composition. The problem with this is that once you do any kind of commenting/noting on a transcript, that transcript essentially has to stay in that project -- leaving no way to do any kind of file/composition/project organization of annotated compositions.

learn from it.

need this! especially since you can only version projects as a whole and not individual comps

+1. This seems like such basic functionality. Having this option would MASSIVELY improve the usefulness of Descript as a product.

This would be amazing to have.
