Please at least allow copying and pasting files (from the Project > Files area) from one project to another. Adding them to a timeline just in order to copy them is unnecessary extra steps.

Currently, Descript does not support directly moving or copying media files between different projects within the app. Media files are project-specific, and there is no built-in "move" or "copy to another project" function for media assets.
The only way to transfer media between projects is to:
Download the files from the media library of the duplicate project to your computer.
Upload them into the media library of your older/reverted project.
This manual process is necessary because each project has its own separate media library.
If you want to see this feature added, you can submit a feature request to Descript.
