Disable automatic line breaks

When transcribing, Descript adds so many line breaks to the transcript that I have to spend a good portion of time deleting the line breaks in order to make the transcript usable. Would love a setting to disable these frequent line breaks or another workaround.

Could you please add a feature when the dot "." on the end of words doesnt make the subtitles automaticaly go to another line?
For example we are doing subtitles for brand "o.b.®" and everytime somebody sais "o.b." the subtitles get split, because Descript thinks its the end of the sentence.
Or when using dates like "12.6."
So what would normally be:
"Meet us 12.6.
on Náplavka"
gets split to
"Meet us 12.6."
-----
"on Náplavka."
Let me control the subtitles. Dont do everything automatically. Thanks :)

For transcription, it would be great if the paragraph break happens at the end of one speaker and the beginning of another speaker. Right now I'm getting breaks randomly, mid-sentence

I'm having this issue as well and also believe I started seeing this issue sometime earlier this year with one of the upgrades. I've used other transcription software and have not encountered issues like this so I'm not really sure why this is still a problem. Please resolve this issue as it creates a lot of inconvenience.

This seems to have been broken about six weeks ago, it was fine before that. Transcriptions are currently unusable beyond just for editing the output.

PLEASE! This is such a pain to have to go click-backspace, click-backspace on literally every line when the transcription messes up.
