As a podcast producer, I'd love an easy way to have intro, outro music, bumper interludes, and other small-pre-set audio already available instead of uploading each time.
They could appear in timeline already, but honestly they can change a bit per episode, so probably easiest step is just to have them in the Media Library available from Descript cloud. Right now I'm uploading new instances for every episode (Project).

I use the same intro and outro on every podcast episode. At least four per month usually more. It would be much more efficient for Descript to have a feature where I could upload the files once and then have them available to insert to projects as needed without having to upload them again to each new project. Another way to do this would be to allow us to save audio only "Templates" like we can for video.

Sorry it took so long to respond to this, but templates have been in the app for quite a while now: https://help.descript.com/hc/en-us/articles/10255950033805-Templates-overview

There is another feature request about a "template" which may be a solution for this, but I'm just presenting the use case, cause there may be a variety of solutions to this.
