Enhance live captioning with animation options
Jordan Schenck
As a YouTuber, I highly value the ability to create engaging and visually compelling content for my audience. The addition of a Caption Animations feature to Descript's already impressive live caption feature would greatly impact my video production process. The ability to add variable sized pop-in effects, reverse stretch, stretch length and width, skew in, and rotate in would allow me to add an extra layer of visual interest and engagement to my videos. Additionally, the ability to import and save presets similar to those in Premiere Pro would save me a significant amount of time and effort in my video editing process. Overall, the addition of this feature would greatly enhance my ability to create high-quality, visually engaging content for my audience. I strongly believe that this feature would be a valuable addition to Descript and would greatly impact my video production process.

Better looking captions

I don't want to sound ungrateful - your platform is awesome.
I'm currently using Submagic to get customized captions that have a little more pzaz that's available on Descript currently.
I feel like they only have a few more features than Descript in this area but it makes a huge difference because they are following a certain "social media look" that 99% of creators are sticking with. They have stuff like automated emojis which is cool, but the main thing for me would be just the variety in how the letters animate. That would allow for a ton more creativity on Descript.
I'd love to be able to move all of my workflow to Descript. It's just such a hassle to export the video from Descript and upload to Submagic every single time, and I'm not alone. Most of my friends that create content are doing this as well.
Again, thanks for everything that you do!

Extremely Powerful Templates

Create a feature where Descript can basically easily create our own custom animations ONCE. Then easily make it a template or inside the default thing itself and it would really help Youtube Creators A LOT to be able to click 1 button and it's automatically animated.
