I recently created a project by importing a YouTube video, expecting to be able to export at 4K resolution since my Creator plan supports it. However, after spending a lot of time on the video, I discovered that YouTube imports are limited to 1080p, and exporting at 4K only upscales the video without improving quality.
This limitation is not clearly communicated during the import process, and as a result, I spent a lot of time working on a project that can’t meet my quality needs.
Please add a clear warning or notification when importing from YouTube, so users know that the maximum available resolution is 1080p, regardless of their export settings or plan. This would save users time and help set the right expectations.
