You can do this with the new Find > Correct Transcript feature. Just search for "um" and then leave the correction text blank.

Show the "Ums' and "Ahs" so I can edit them out.

One of the reasons I decided to try Descript was to make it easier to edit out "ums" and "ahs" from my podcasts. But, for some reason the transcription tool ignores these verbal stumbles.
I suggest adding a feature that shows them and make it easy to scan the podcast to remove them in bulk.

Detect and take out Umm's and Ahh's

Please put this at the top of the list! I just started using Descript (love it!) from Logic Pro. So much of my time was taking out the Umms and I'd really hoped Descript would address that. As it is, the transcript seems to ignore the umms, making it that much harder to edit out.
Maybe a more precise phrasing of this request would be: Detect Umms and Ahhs and mark them for easy removal.

And maybe a "find all / delete all" option?

YES! Im notorious for UM's and I would love to be able to remove them as I read them in the script from the audio
