Invite/Scheduling Podcasts with Rooms

There should be a feature to invite others in advance with a calendar invitation directly from Descript for recording podcast episodes with guests.
This would really make Descript an all-in-one podcast editor.
Riverside has this feature, and if Descript implemented it, it would knock Riverside out of the park.

Descript team, this doesn't make any sense (see attached). Not only is this unsafe, it's not very intuitive. You already have the ability to: Create project > Record > Record with others - which adds a recording from your Room to that specific project (as opposed to adding the recording to a new project every time). So extend this feature by: linking the room to a project IN THE URL e.g. https://web.descript.com/room/{{room-UUID}}/project/{{project-UUID}}. This way when we share a link with a guest we know that:
- The recording will end up in that project
- Past guests can't arbitrarily join as they don't have the unique project UUID (maybe it's harder to implement as the room would have to be unique but the ability to have unique rooms is imperative for safety, even if guests join the waiting room first).
This is still a hack and scheduling functionality would be more intuitive, but this seems like a quick win. Include a guide on how to create the unique link and share it via email and calendar and we have a working solution in the meantime.

Agreed. I had this same idea. I want to embed my Room link in my Calendly. The problem is that the recordings would all be tied to the same Project, if I understand correctly.
