Schedule Recording sessions in advance

Squadcast is getting kinda janky. I only need to be able to schedule a room in advance to move over to rooms. It's the only thing missing.

I have developed my workaround to the scheduling in advance issue for now:
- I create a project
- I click record, then record with others, then Join
- I then copy the link and send it to others.
Advantage over Squadcast:
- I won't have to import the recording, then rename it.
Disadvantages:
- I should be able to just get the link to the recording without "joining." I see this as New Project -> Record with Others -> Two buttons: Join & Copy Invite Link.
- Even though I invited them, I still have to approve them to join. Squadcast automatically logged them in.
- The quality of the recording is unknown at this point. In other words, I don't know how well it will actually work.

However, unlike Squadcast, I can't create (schedule) future events. This is important as I want to update my guest via the calendar invite and email reminders with the link. Sending it minutes before the interview is far from ideal.
Will this feature be coming to Rooms?

Squadcast could generate a link that I could share with guests in a calendar invite in advance. The new workflow of having to actually start a session to get a link is far clunkier.

Can you integrate Rooms with calendar apps like Calendly? My workflow includes sending my Calendly link for people to book meetings. The Zoom/ Calendly integration books the meeting on both calendars with the Zoom meeting link included, the meetings are listed in my Zoom account in chronological order, and reminder emails are sent from Calendly. I moved from Squadcast back to Zoom specifically for this automation.

There should be a feature to invite others in advance with a calendar invitation directly from Descript for recording podcast episodes with guests.
This would really make Descript an all-in-one podcast editor.
Riverside has this feature, and if Descript implemented it, it would knock Riverside out of the park.

In squadcast there's a way to schedule recordings and send out links to guests. With Rooms, there's no way to do that. Please add that feature in.

The ability to pre-schedule and share a link with my guests is essential. All signs point to Descript not supporting SquadCast in the near future. Pre-Scheduling and/or the ability to have a standard link that can be shared with guests is essential. Most of my guests are corporate and need time to get the security cleared. They are also infrequent podcast guests and so not comfortable with a laissez-faire approach to "I'll give you the link when its time..."
