Many situations should arise during field recording when user WANTS to retain background noise, like in a sports film, but often, the venue is playing some copyrighted background music. The music will not be allowed by film distributers because it's copyrighted.
Use case: I was recording a racquetball match and the club played music over speakers. I need to hear the ball being hit and the feet hitting the floor.
I think AI can run through a list of songs and delete those noises, or determine some music is being played and delete only those sounds, but keep the rest of the ambient noise there.
It will take some work on your part because Descript is designed to only work with human voice but I think eventually could isolate music and remove that.
thanks!
