When a recording has finished, give the user the options to either keep or re-take the recording. Like it is in Camtasia. Saves a lot of time if you have to do many takes (like trying to record a flawless gameplay) and don't want to pollute your project with failed takes.

Can you PLEASE implement a "discard and retake" option after the recorder is stopped? It is incredibly clumsy and a waste of time/resources to have Descript begin to upload every take immediately after the recording is stopped, with no option to stop the upload. Just add a dialog box with two options when stopping the recording: "Keep take" or "Discard and record again". This is such a basic feature. It's mind boggling that it is missing from software as sophisticated as Descript.
