Why does the tendency at Descript seems to be to continue to pump out countless new features every month while failing to fix problems and get the basics right?

First, the recorder continues to be clunky. Now, when I start a recording (screen capture + camera using 2-3 screens), the main Descript windows is randomly minimized. Why? This suddenly changes the emission of light coming from the screen and is a problem.

Also, when recording (screen capture + camera), the camera preview window keeps jumping to the screen capture window, so you have to manually drag it away every time you start a new recording. It's incredibly annoying. I've reported this before and the problem has gone completely ignored.

And it may be worth asking (again): why is it not possible to pause a recording, or stop and dismiss it? Instead, Descript immediately uploads every take. For long takes, it means that gigabytes of data are uploaded for nothing, freezing up the computer potentially for hours. This is incredibly inefficient and badly designed.
