Media management tools

Would be nice to specify which files in a project we actually still need. Or when downloading a project that was started by a colleague, which files we need to download or which files to download first. A specific command could be "only download files for selected compositions" with a dialogue box that allows you to check the corresponding compositions. And similar for specific files.

Downloading Useless Media Files

I copy paste a part of an older project and then I edit out the irrelevant parts of that and add in the relevant parts for my new project. The older files which I have removed (including very heavy unused video components which were part of my previous project) are all referenced by the project even though they are not anywhere in the project and aren't used anywhere in the composition. I have to downloads Gbs of irrelevant mdeia files not used in my composition just because for some reason they are referenced by the project I'm working on. It takes alot of time and it takes alot of internet.

Download files when opening Composition, not Project

Currently, opening a Project appears to cause Descript to download all associated media not currently available. This can be frustrating if I just need to edit a specific Composition and other files are not needed.
Can we have more flexibility in when and how media is downloaded? Many edits can be made without all media available, so more selectivity around this will save our disk space, network bandwidth, and likely make Descript snappier to boot.
