Please consider developing a feature that allows producers to upload short audio or video files ahead of (and even during) a recording and play those files for the participants (i.e., hosts and guests). Riverside.fm has this feature, and it seems very helpful. The workaround currently is routing software, which is a pain. Thanks for considering!

Other online recording services (Zencastr, Riverside, etc) have the ability to upload your own sounds/music to play to all call attendees in a recording session. General use cases are intro music for a podcast and pre-recorded ad-reads.

These are generally recorded on a seperate audio track to mix when editing. Currently you have to upload these manually post recording into Descript and adjust accordingly.
