Voice Emotion Control: Ability to adjust AI voice tone per section (e.g., calm, intense, excited, soft)—ideal for motivation, storytelling, or emotional comfort videos

Scene-by-Scene Image Customization: Ability to regenerate or restyle specific scenes individually for more nuanced visuals

Shorts Optimization Mode: Visual pacing tips, hook testing, retention suggestions, and pacing guidance for under-60-second content

Multi-format Repurposing Tools: Instantly generate square/vertical versions, reels thumbnails, or quote-style versions for reuse on other platforms

These would massively improve short-form video creation and boost Descript's ability to compete with editing tools built for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
