We expanded the transitions library to 16 types — including Clock Wipe, Shape Wipe, Push-Pull, Flip, Split, Shake, and more — with animated previews and bulk apply. Find it via the ⌛ between scenes: https://help.descript.com/hc/en-us/articles/10255989387661
And we will continue updating this new menu with new transition types. Please let us know if you have any specific requests (and file a new feature request for them please.)

We totally need stock video options for transitions, similar to CapCut - or a special link to Unsplash or Envato to grab a short video transition, so all the edits can still be inside Descript.

I don't need a lot of transition but something I can use since I am talking by myself and all the wipes don't work since the video before and after are too similar. I want a simple slide in transition or pixelated transition. PLEASE!!!

Yes, totally agree. I'm forced to look at other editors in order to get more transitions and animated effects.’

Yes, having more transitions like pushing an image directionally (instead of just the faded wipe) would really expand the vocabulary available for moving between clips
