Morph Cuts

Premiere, Final Cut, and Resolve have ways of blending footage together to make it look like there was no cut made at all. Premiere calls it a morph cut, Final Cut a Flow transition, etc. I'd like to see an option for that here.

I have to go out to Premiere to smooth these jump cuts via morph. Please make them smoother!

I agree! Great app, but the video jump cuts resulting from text edits can be pretty jerky. Shouldn't be that hard to incorporate this great feature that would save another set of steps. Thanks for considering!

Descript is pretty amazing but it defiantly needs a blending feature for video! Please create one!!

yes for now I will use davinci resolve but it is not directly supported by descript.. Moreover, since I will mostly use da vinci resolve for their smooth cut feature, if there would be something directly available in descript to do that: problem solved ! This is the only main feature they should add to be a solid alternative to those edit softwares
