In an audio project, in the timeline, if I want to add a layer and I want it to start before the beginning of where it currently starts, I have to awkwardly create a gap clip and keep stretching it out until it's long enough to extend the new layer. The exact same is true for the end of a composition too. I shouldn't have to mess around with gap clips. I should be able to just place the new layer to start (or end) where I want it, even if it's outside of the pre-existing timeline.
