Option for copying Speaker name when copying text
Joyce van Weverwijk
Currently, when copying the text of the speaker, you only copy the text. It would be nice if there was a function where you could copy the text, together with the speaker's name (and maybe timestamp) in order to paste quotes somewhere else.
Currently, you can only do this by exporting the transcript, but then you need to update mistakes in descript and the transcript at the same time, which takes a lot of time.

Ability to copy transcript along with the names of the speakers

I think I used to be able to copy the whole transcript along with the names of the speakers. Now when I try it, the speakers names are not copied for some reason

I was just able to do this by asking the new AI "Underlord" to copy the text with the speakers name from the transcript.

Allow speaker names to be copied along with the transcript

Hi - First off - I LOVE Descript and it has become an important part of how I do business!
Minor, but very useful feature request: I just tried out the speaker detection feature, which is AWESOME! But then I noticed that if I select the text in the transcript and copy it, the speaker names are not copied. The transcript gets pasted without the speaker names. If the speaker names were included, you could paste it into ChatGPT and ask questions about it like: "What is Sharon's opinion about <topic>" That is just an example. This would be an extremely helpful feature that would be (I believe) quick and easy to implement. Thanks!

Copy and pasting transcription segments along with timestamp and speaker information

The content I produce deals with both narration and interviews. So when I build out the script, it's very important for my work flow to be able to make selections on the transcripts of the interview, copy the segment, and see timestamp information (start and end time stamps) and speaker information (who's talking) when pasting it in between voice over lines on my script document.
This is especially important because when the script goes to an editor, he/she knows who's talking and where those segments are in the interview. It's something my previous transcription service did really well, so not having it here is a very strong blow to this kind of workflow.

Yeah it's pretty bad that you can't.
