I am writing to express my frustration regarding the recent playback updates. Our team handles super simple video editing, and we rely almost entirely on 1.5x- 2x playback speed to quickly skim and rough-cut our long-form footage.

Ever since the recent update, the fast(x) playback feature has become completely unusable. I don't know why it has changed, but the audio distortion has made it basically completely useless. I can't understand a word anyone is saying. Please log this with your engineering team to fix the playback stability and regression as soon as possible.
