"Action" To Remove Duplicate Statements

Sometimes when recording, a speaker might repeat a word or a couple of phrases as they are trying to get a point across. In every day situations we hardly realize when someone does this, but on a video it can be really redundant. For example, a speaker may say "and, and" or something like "if we do this.. if we do this then we can..." or other examples like that. I would love if Descript had a feature that removed one of the double statements or double words like it does filler words. Hopefully this makes sense? Thanks!

We do this with Filler Words Pro
Propane
Andrew Mason: Hey Andrew - a very helpful feature would be to expand this to highlight repeated phrases that aren't completely adjacent, for example multiple attempts at the same line, so that during the edit you can easily select the final attempt

The new Pro version of Filler Words says it can delete 'repeated words' but I can't see how to do this? This would save me hours on editing.
Descript’s most advanced handling of filler words takes context into account to detect, ignore, and delete filler words like “you know,” “like,” and “kind of” as well as 'repeated words', making it easier than ever for your recordings to sound tight and polished.

Found it thanks for adding this feature ;-)

Was about to request the same feature. So many people say double words.

This is an excellent feature request. Very similar to the filler word feature.
