I need to see the files names in the redesign to quickly identify where it came from. Having a "scene" number is nonsensical and offers little value to the user. Seeing "SteveINTV-tk4" does let me know that it's Steve talking, and take 4 likely comes after take 3.

This is insane that nobody has asked for this. When you have 20 files and want to enter them into your transcript in order there is no simple way. Then if I want to know what file X part of the transcript is coming from there is no way to tell. This should be a bug not a feature request.

yes please, i want to see the filenames after import, not a scene number

Removing the filename from Descript has been the most frustrating change to any software I regularly use since the Creative Cloud. I've tried everything, you can't even see it when you hover, there's no option to view it in the context menu. Plus, since Descript loads files in haphazard order if you drag more than one in at a time, you have no way to tell if they're in the right order. Spoiler: They're definitely not.
