I use shorten word gaps all the time. However, it's looking for lack of words as silence, not actual silence. I have to manually go through each instance of silence and ensure it's not someone laughing for 3 seconds or a few words that got missed in transcription. It would be lovely to be confident the tool is actually going to do what it says.
