We need to be able to duplicate video layers and create nested sequences in the timeline.

We should be able to remove the audio from the duplicated clip to make it video-only.

This will be very helpful and time saving for a video with multi speakers but it isn't recorder with multi camera. What I want to achieve is to be able to stack people on top of each other when generating short form content vertical and not having to add new video layer and sync it manually.

When editing live stream 16:9 content into 9:16 TikToks I want to re-layout my content by cropping different sections and stacking them vertically. This is SUPER easy in normal timeline editors like DaVinci, but IMPOSSIBLE with descript.

Can you please allow some method of cloning the script video as a synced layer to enable this?
