If the software is already going to detect speakers and write a script based on who is speaking at any given time, why is adjusting the captions so difficult?! I want to be able to set a different color for each speaker's captions and it seems so much more complicated than just doing it manually on the previous editors I came from...

Speakers differentiated by colour in video captions

would like different speakers to be different colours as a default option when adding a caption layer. The effect can be achieved by creating multiple layers of captions, and then displaying an individual speaker on each layer, but would be easier if this was an option on a single caption layer. thanks

I believe this feature already exists as of now. If they've created since this was requested, I believe they or someone should close this request with COMPLETE FEATURE ADDED or something like this.

Yes, this is my number one feature. Would make subtitles so much more understandable for hard of hearing viewers without us having to manually set text and background colours for each section of speech - which adds an hour to my workflow for every hour transcribed.

Yes this would be so useful and seems simple to implement if you already have speaker tags for each line!!
