Suggest settings be retained in Descript, not browser

Using Descript in a browser (i.e. not desktop app), if I choose a setting such as transcription provider, it will be retained only if I use the same browser and do not clear my cache.
As we might use different browsers at different times, or might wish to clear our cache sometimes, it would be much better and more convenient to have the settings retained in our Descript account, rather than in the browser.
Having set our preferences, I don't think users should have to recheck and reset their settings upon each login.
Also, I really hope the accuracy of the transcripts can be significantly improved. I edit my transcripts because I want to have accurate closed captions on YouTube, and at the moment, I spend at least as much time correcting the transcription errors in Descript as I spend editing the actual video.

Rooms Settings to be account specific and not tied to browser's cookies, etc.

I had trouble figuring out how to get not only a mp4 but also a wav file for Room recordings, espeically for a guest. I'm coming from squadcast where I can decide what to download. I end up using the wav files and cleaning them up outside of Squadcast/Descript/Rooms but it took me a bit to find this setting.
Then using a diff computer, I realized that these settings aren't tied to the account but to the browser and the browser's profile. So switching a profile or computer or clearing cache, kills the setting and can easily be forgotten about and I don't know if you can later get a wav file.
I filed this under categroy Recorder but I think that's different than Rooms? When I record with the recorder, I don't see an option anywhere to get a wav file.
