I need to work on my video in DaVinci Resolve but when i import .edl file from Descript into Resolve, it does not work. Is this a bug or the file is not made for resolve? If it is not, please add feature to export .edl for DaVinci Resolve.
Thx!

I'm finding audio edit points are very problematic. I'm sure they're technically correct based on timecode but the end result difference between your "micro fades" and then importing into Resolve/Fairlight, even after applying the batch crossfades to all edit points, is unusable. Most require manual correction which is extremely time consuming.
If possible, it would be great to at least have an optional switch when exporting the timeline for Resolve to fix that. Ideally you could then recalculate the edit points to compensate for the differences so they match AFTER we apply the batch crossfades function on every edit point in Resolve (assuming default settings for the batch crossfades).
Fully supporting a usable export to Resolve will tremendously help get buy-in to use Descript in the pipeline! As long as we can still eventually get the project into Resolve without hours of work fixing edits.

This already works well with the timeline export feature. I'd rather see an import feature or being able to reference same files as you go back and edit material in Resolve. So I can jump back and fourth...

Rio Tafoya: might be worth noting that I use it with proxy files created in resolve that are mov files and that has timecode that is same as original files (generated by resolve), because the raw footage I use is .braw and I don’t think that would work with deacript
