I was working on a project in the Mac desktop app, including title and caption layers. I noticed a notification that a new update was ready, but I didn't want to interrupt my work. I closed the session, and when I reopened the app, it had been updated to version 98, and the captions and title layers were missing from the project. I was alarmed, as I did not know if other recent edits such as scene divisions, crops, transitions, etc. had also been lost, or whether it was possible to recover the version I was working on.

Fortunately, when I opened the project in the web app, the recent edits showed up, and I tried downloading a backup of the project, and opened that. Now the missing layers and other edits are visible in the desktop app. I hope they stay, and that the new version of the app is stable!
