Live Camera/Custom Scene switching while recording in Descript like you can do with Ecamm Live and then also use those custom scenes in a zoom call. I have vmix but not really user friendly and you need a beast computer to run, Ecamm requires Mac but love it's user friendly ability, so if Descript can create an Ecamm Live studio recording section in the software that's cloud based and can be used with any type of Laptop would be Fantastic! Then those live switching custom scene recordings can just drop down in the editor for any final edits and send out to our social media sites. One tool does it all!

there are a few similar threads with votes scattered around. It is very surprising that we cannot do this. It would be great to be able to replace a background and lock it to the video. We should not have to try to manage syncing up the background image and the video every time we do a change in the scene or layout.

Bigvu.tv allows you to create a background using AI and then impose the background on a video you have already created (much as Descript's eye contact feature is added after the video was created). It's a great feature and seems so obviously useful.
